By monetizing access to their archives today to train large language models, these same media outlets risk being replaced tomorrow by agents that will use these data banks to generate content and deliver it to their audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The solution? A conscious effort by media organizations to address this real risk and to develop their own ethical AI systems without relying on platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\uddde\ufe0f Journalism holds a fundamental responsibility to inform.
